Wild Love!

Melanie and Bill are the quintessential throw back couple.  What I mean by that is...their style, their music tastes, talents and Melanie's skill of photo restoration, all speak to a time of craft and conduct. Melanie's family is from my favorite city, Chicago.  Bill's family is from Wisconsin. They moved to Nashville and haven't looked back.  Bill, aka. The One and Only Bill Davis (his recording name) and Melanie chose to have a simple ceremony in their front lawn and the reception at the Nashville Zoo. Their front yard has the most beautiful red bud tree and as planned...it was in full bloom. Melanie and Bill also worked to create a beautiful bed of tulips that were also in full bloom and were the perfect coordinating colors to the other ceremony flowers. The day of the wedding it poured down rain just up until 15-20 minutes prior.  (I've never seen such a calm bride in that circumstance) My wedding director Brittany quickly dried the chairs off and the show went on as planned!

I highly recommend the zoo for an outdoor reception location. Not your normal choice, I realize, but they were very gracious hosts to all vendors and with your fee you already have the tent and the floor is concrete so no need to rent a dance floor!  Your guests have as much space as they need to dance the night away and this couple did just that.  She even had a blue petticoat sewn into her gown so that when she twirled it would peek out.  LOVED IT!

Michelle and Chris...purple bliss!

Michelle Street came to me to help plan and direct her wedding to Chris Michael last year.  The wedding was in the fall and Mary Rosenbaum has just sent me the beautiful pictures after her maternity leave.  I've been anxiously awaiting but nothing is more important than family time!  Especially when it's a precious  new member!

Michelle's Father, Coach Michael Street, is a coach at Franklin Road Academy, where my son attends school.  I have also executed at least 2 other weddings for friends and/or church members.   Bonnie Street is an accomplished seamstress along with many other talents and hobbies.  She was instrumental in creating the soft seating area.  I was also SHOCKED to receive a gift at the end of the reception.  It was the most beautiful smocked gown for my daughter Greer.  There is no telling how long Bonnie work on it.  Greer has loved wearing it this Spring. Such a giving, sweet family and I know Michael and Michelle will have a "happily ever after"!  Again...I am honored to be a part of it.
